Description |

| + Mange moi je suis seul: a video installation with three acts. Auto-ficition of both artists at dinner with their families. Allison and Dany sit at a dinner table. The video portrait of each is projected on a cut out silhouette , isolating each figure in space. |

| project description | This project is a colloboration between the Maison du poesie and Atelier Graff. 5 artists and 5 poets are paired together to create a colloborative piece. LES ENFANTS DU SURRÉALISME En partenariat avec la Maison de la poésie et la Maison de la culture du Plateau Mont-Royal, Graff, propose à cinq artistes de la relève des Ateliers (membres actifs en règle) de travailler en duo avec un poète à la réalisation d’un projet de création. Ce projet s’inscrira dans les activités du Marché de la poésie de Montréal qui se déroule du 28 au 31 mai 2009 et les productions seront présentés du 15 mai au 15 juin 2009 à la Maison de la culture du plateau |

| artists statement | I often involve many platforms, and my work is very research orientated. In the last two years, I began developing new technologies in video, animation and interactive computing as an invited artist at Studio XX. This is my first project working with written text, and my first colloboration with Dany.

Allison Moore is an independent artist developing projects at the intersection of art and science. Her engagements include documentary filmmaking, video installation, animation, and puppet theatre. Her works are socially and politically conscience, often including a level of absurdity, humor and surrealism. Originally from the Pacific Coast of Canada she has produced projects in Ecuador, the Galapagos, United Kingdom, Europe and North America. Allison has developed new technologies in video, animation and interactive computing as an invited artist at Studio XX and the Society of Arts and Technology in Montreal. And recently participated in a residency at the [calq] Quebec studio in Belem, Brasil.
